February 2022

Hello Free Life,

It's the time of year where couples Express their love for each other by buying cards and chocolates in heart shaped boxes to express their love. As wonderful as that is and sounds there is a love even Beyond This Love.

God first loved us. He also teaches us about love and how to love. His active of love by sending his only son and watching him be betrayed, beaten, spit on and crucified on a cross until the last breath left his body is an act of love beyond any we have ever known. The Bible says "Greater love hath no man than this than a man lay down his life for his friends". Jesus said "I have not called you servants but, I have called you friends". The truth of Valentine's Day is "GOD IS LOVE". He doesn't just have love. He is love.
Whether you're single or married you have the love of God is inside of you and if we let that love shine it changes our life and the lives of others around us.

Fall 2021

As we move into the fall of 2021 a lot of things have changed for Free Life. We have went from in-person services to online services for over a year and our building could not reopen. We have had problems getting the roof fixed.

We have black mold from being closed and the roof leaking. It seems like we've had obstacle after obstacle to overcome. While it would be easy to look at the negative side of this, I can see positive. We have gained a lot of new members simply having an online presence. Several from around state and country tune in to us every Sunday at 11 a.m. I said all that to say this. Moving forward we must do what we say in our confession. "We speak those things that be not as though they were. That is how you speak in faith". This does not just apply to smokers, junkies, gamblers and overeaters. This applies to us in everyday life. This applies to Free Life. We are champions so we must act and talk like champions. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 "Faith (trust) is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen". Now more than ever we need to trust God and follow his guidance. Things have changed and

are changing and we have to listen to the voice of God and follow Him. This means that we have to adapt.

God's will not our will. As Jesus prayed in the garden "Not my will by thy will be done".

Whatever the situation is at Free Life we will always trust God and we will do what He wants and not

what we feel. Life might throw us curve balls but if we listen to God we will always hit a homerun!

We are champions!
